I would like to invite you to Sean Noonan's Brewed by Noon Residency at the LIC Bar Live Every Wednesday starting on October 6. 2010 @ 10–11pm 45–58 Vernon Blvd, Queens, New York 11101

Sean Noonan drum set, compositions, storytelling. Featuring spectacular array of musicians as well that will transcend through a concoction of dreamy lullabies from the Orient. Eventually I turn the members of my band against each other in a free jazz wrestling frenzy. On the side there even will be a little Irish–American storytelling, improvised on the drum set and inspired by Irish avant–garde writer Samuel Beckett.

There might be a few musical concussions and that should not be missed!

Sean Noonan's Brewed by Noon's latest album release Set the Hammer Free that is a fermentation of stories, Art Rock songs and high energy Punk–Jazz from the New York underground that travels to and from America, Ireland and West Africa. Since the release of Stories to Tell and Boxing Dreams, Noonan has gathered a collection of legends, stories, and songs that are improvised and composed from the drum set, in the fashion of an Irish griot.

Drummer, composer, and storyteller, Sean Noonan has emerged as part of the next generation of cutting edge music from the Brooklyn underground, performing in over 16 countries around the world, producing over 14 albums, incorporating a diverse spectrum of styles and recognized musicians such as Marc Ribot, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Mat Maneri, Abdoulaye Diabate, and Susan McKeown.
