Baick Ho Cha
Baick Ho Cha (b 1974) is a composer & educator. He began his music lesson at the age of 5. He got his bachelor's degree from Yonsei University (1997) and his master's from NYU (2001) and Aaron Copland School of Music (2010). He has also finished his Doctor of Education program (ABD) in 2008 at Columbia University. He is also a Max/MSP expert. He has received numerous merit–based scholarships and awards from prestigious music competitions in S. Korea and in the US. Now he is president of Queens College New Music Group, organizing concerts for new music. He has studied music composition with Bruce Saylor, Hubert Howe, David Schober, Robert Rowe, and Jae–yeol Park. He also studied film scoring with Ron Shadoff at NYU. He has 17–year teaching experiences.
